Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information Reachbox ("we," "us," "our") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have — including data we access through LinkedIn's official API.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

Name, email address, company name, and password (encrypted) when you register.

LinkedIn Data (via LinkedIn's Official API)

When you connect your LinkedIn account, and only with your explicit consent through LinkedIn's OAuth flow, we access:

  • Basic profile information (name, headline, profile picture)
  • Permission to post, schedule, and manage content on your behalf (personal profile and/or connected company page)
  • Basic engagement metrics for content you've published through Reachbox

We access this data only through LinkedIn's official API — never by scraping your profile, storing your LinkedIn password, or accessing your browser session/cookies.

Content You Provide

Drafts, uploaded files, links to videos or articles you ask us to repurpose, and any custom instructions you give our AI tools.

Billing Information

Handled directly by our payment processor, Dodo Payments. We do not store your full card details — Dodo Payments manages billing, invoicing, and tax collection as the merchant of record.

Usage Data

Standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited, collected automatically to keep the Service running and secure.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you logged in, remember preferences, and understand how the Service is used. You can disable cookies in your browser, though some features may not work correctly without them.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information above to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service (drafting, scheduling, publishing to LinkedIn)
  • Authenticate and personalize your account and Content Studio/Repurpose outputs
  • Process billing through Dodo Payments
  • Communicate with you about your account, updates, or support requests
  • Monitor and improve the reliability and security of the Service
  • Comply with legal obligations, including those required under LinkedIn's API Terms of Use

3. AI Processing

To draft posts, Reachbox sends your inputs (topics, source links, custom instructions) to one or more third-party AI providers for processing. We select and may change these providers as the product evolves; each processes data solely to generate your requested Output and does not use it to improve their own AI models without your consent, in line with our agreements with them.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:

  • LinkedIn, to publish and manage content you've authorized us to post on your behalf.
  • Dodo Payments, to process payments and taxes.
  • AI model providers, to generate content Output, as described above.
  • Infrastructure/hosting providers, to run the Service securely.
  • Legal authorities, if required by law or to protect our rights and users' safety.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

  • We retain your account data for as long as your account is active.
  • If you disconnect your LinkedIn account, we stop accessing your LinkedIn data going forward and delete previously stored LinkedIn profile data within a reasonable period, consistent with LinkedIn's API Terms of Use.
  • If you delete your Reachbox account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we're required to retain records for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.

You can request a copy or deletion of your data at any time by contacting support@reachbox.app.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Request a portable copy of your data (data portability)

If you're in the EU/UK (GDPR): these rights apply as described above, and you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

If you're in California (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what personal data we collect, request its deletion, and opt out of any "sale" of data — we do not sell personal data.

If you're in India (DPDP Act): you have the right to access, correct, and request erasure of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access controls) to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we work to minimize risk and will notify you as required by law in the event of a data breach affecting your information.

8. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries outside your own, including where our hosting or AI providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for these transfers.

9. Children's Privacy

Reachbox is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect data from, anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice before they take effect.
